On June 4, 2005… I had written about my desire to watch this movie….
“Cinderella Man
I want to watch this movie…. cant wait to watch it… Amazing trailers and reviews.. “
Well, I finally did yesterday. A nice movie which has been very well directed and good performances by the actors. This is truely one of the exceptional works of director Ron Howard, though Russel Crowe has done simillarly great movies. I understand that this movie hasnt done well but that is all because of the bad publicity that Crowe has been getting recently.
This movie tells the story of James Braddock, a boxer who got a second chance. It shows how he lived through the Great Depression that started in 1929, and how he went on the become the world champion in boxing.
I give it 7.5/10.
Nice movie… kind of slow… kewl effects…. 6.5/10.
SUCKS ! Badly directed movie with no head or tail. Somehow, movie makers at times dont seem to realize that it’s the year 2005 now !
Dont watch it.. I give it 3/10.
Amazing movie. Another masterpiece from Ram Gopal Verma. A very well directed movie in which each actor has given beautiful performances. The only hitch about the movie was that i had just seen “D the Company” a few days back and about 5–6 characters were same in both the movies.
Read a full review here. It’s been compared to Mario Puzo’s “The Godfather”
I rate it 8/10.
How can we show application icons constantly on the start menu ? It’s quite simple and quick. Just do the following.
Just goto the application’s main executable file (usually .exe) or any shortcut that refers to an executable and then right click. You will see an option to Pin to start menu. Choose “Pin to Start menu” and then goto the start menu to see the change.
There you have it !!
Well, having said all this, I don’t prefer setting up things by this method. I like to use the Quick Launch to keep all my favourite applications one click away from me. I just did this as I was asked to do it on all the computers of my lab and I thought this information might come in handy to someone else.
Went to Khols today to help a friend so shopping. Ended up spending 65 bucks myself. Picked up two jeans (Levis and Urban), one gym short and a t-shirt.
I am planning to setup a webpage to put up a list of all the things that i have bought here in US since i have started earning. Got loads of stuff….
“Life is beautiful, shitty at times….. but beautiful”
H.G. Wells novel, might have been great but this movie feel well short of greatness. Tom Cruise has done good acting and Spielberg’s direction has been amazing, but the story wasnt qiute complete. There are a lot of loopholes in the movie and a lot of things left unsaid, just to the imaginations of the audience.
The graphics are amazing in the movie. I guess that itself will be one thing that will make ppl feel that they really didnt waste their money. A lot more could have been done with the movie if just the story had been told in a better manner.
I liked the graphics but just didn’t get the climax. I rate it 5.5/10.
I just finished watching this movie by Rakesh Sharma. This is a great attempt to show to the world what Gujarat Riots were all about and what Narendra Modi, the Gujarat CM is all about. I hate the fact that such shit happened and no one did anything about it. The Godhra riots were used just as a stepping stone by all the Hindu hardliners to do what they had been waiting forever to do.
This movie is banned in India and I have heard that Rakesh is trying to go around and give CDs to ppl here in US to show them what the truth is all about.
IMHO, Modi is a mother f*cker and and all these bloody Hindutva Fanatics are nothing but brainless lunatics who have given themselves into the hands of the leaders of groups like VHP, Bajrang Dal etc……
I wish I could personally put this Modi to rest. The whole problem is that Modi is a very useful dude to these lunatics. If he is alive he is planning all these things and his death, esp assassination, gives all these idiots a license to kill. I hope ppl in India learn and elevate their thinking above all this cast based classification.
