iPod, India, Ignorance

Apple is a real big thing here in US. A year back, when I was in India, the only thing that I really knew was that there is something know as Macintosh OS by Apple. I had never imagined that there will be so many users of Mac.

I was reminded about this yesterday while talking to a friend. I told him that I got a new iPod and he replied back saying, “Congrats !! So which company’s iPod is it ?”…. lol…. While talking to my mother, I got the same question again. It’s so freaky that people in India equate iPod to MP3 player but don’t know that it’s just a name of Apple’s product. It’s good in the sense that everyone knows about iPod, but it’s bad because they don’t have the whole information.

BTW, I have bought an Apple iPod 4G 20GB. It’s beautiful.
