Inspiron 8600 Problems (Update)

Well, I received my laptop back yesterday, but I saw that they had only replaced the LCD screen. Also, the body had small peices broken off at two sides and one of the rubber supports for the laptop’s base was also missing.

In a short while, while transferring data onto the laptop from the backup, the same problem happened again and the computer hanged.

I called Dell support again and now they have created another case and I will have to send the laptop back to them. While talking, the Dell technician actually told me that I should re-install my OS ! When I asked him If he could explain further, he put me on a hold and then came back saying that they will replace the video card this time.

I just hope that they are able to fix the problem.
