Firefox 1.5 and Flock

Yes… i know… it’s too late to tell you…. but I just wanted to do my part.

Firefox 1.5 is out and ready for download at http://getfirefox.com. It’s the best browser out there. I am in love with it. I have this tendency to shift to new applications every once in a while, but this browser has become standard for me now. I cant ever imagine using IE for more than 10 mins.

I will soon be posting a list of extensions that I have been using and a few new ones that I am going to try out.

Also, that reminds me… have you heard of Flock ? It’s a browser built on top of the Firefox code… I guess currently it’s in it’s public beta version. I tried it out and seems to be kewl. It’s got quite a few things integrated into it. It’s got a totally different way of managing favorites and also has integrated blogging tools. You can search the pages that you have visited in the past as they get indexed. It also includes a built-in feed aggregator and a Flickr topbar.

In many ways, Flock is what you get after you have installed a few extensions into Firefox. It’s worth checking out though….
