Nalin’s Labyrinth
An Oscar nominee in several categories… this is a classic… It tells about 4 years of the life of Truman Capote… how he researched and wrote his bestseller titled In Cold Blood. Loved the movie… so I am now going to try and get my hands on the novel or it’s adapted screenplay.
A must watch…. 8/10.
I know… this is a very old movie… released in 2004…. but I watched it yesterday for the first time… It was just amazing…. any day better than Roadtrip. Just loved it. I would say it is a must watch… I was ROFLing all the time…. 8.5/10.
Sheer stupidity… mostly stuff that doesn’t make one laugh.. please avoid…. 4/10.
Heard a lot about this movie and was really expecting a lot out of it… and I guess thats the reason why I was a little disappointed. This movie has been publicised as a dark comedy. It is definitely a dark flick, but I couldn’t see much of comedy in it. Boman Irani has over acted a bit but Saif has again given a very good performance. He has narrated the movie too.
It’s is a movie away from the main stream cinema and I guess that makes watching it worthwhile. Even though this movie is in English, to really enjoy it, you need to watch it with subtitles if you don’t know Marathi Gujarati. I give it 6.5/10.

Nana Pathekar rocks in this movie. Nice comedy about a day in the lives of a few ppl and how the events of that day, changed their lives forever. You need to be a mumbaiya or subtitles to really understand all the dialogues in the movie.
I enjoyed watching it. I give it 7/10.
Watched this movie also at the South Barrington AMC theater… the other one was Inside Man. It’s a really nice comedy that turns very serious at the end. I really don’t want to say much so will C-c C-v some stuff from IMDB….

Plot Outline: A case of mistaken identity lands Slevin (Josh Hartnett) into the middle of a war being plotted by two of the city’s most rival crime bosses: The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and The Boss (Morgan Freeman). Slevin is under constant surveillance by relentless Detective Brikowski (Stanley Tucci) as well as the infamous assassin Goodkat (Bruce Willis) and finds himself having to hatch his own ingenious plot to get them before they get him.
This movie was also a bit stretched at the end… I am sure the ending could have been quicker… But again… a must watch movie…. 7/10.
hmm… nice flick… It’s about a bank robbery, but is quite different from the ones that I have seen before… Clive Owen and Denzel Washington are amazing in their roles.
I really liked the way in which the robbery was carried out. The plot unfolds really well at the end. The movie was a bit stretched in the middle and you seem to wonder when is the next big thing going to happen…. But overall.. it’s a nice and fast paced movie that keeps you wondering, “What the hell is going on ??“

The movie builds up slowly… but when u think that the fun is going to start… nothing happen and it all ends… just that the ending is conceptually pretty kewl.
I liked the movie… 7/10.
Nice animation… turned the whole tale of the Little Red Riding Hood upside down. Quite funny.. though I thought that the ending was a bit stretched…
