Went to Indiana for the USGP, i.e. the United States Grand Prix. Left me with mixed emotions. On one hand I was elated to see a F1 race for the first time in my life, while on the other hand I was very disappointed to see only 3 teams race. Schumi was a winner right from the beginning. It was just nice to see the kinda of atmosphere created with just 6 cars on track and to imagine how it would have been, had there been 20 cars !
The crowd was amazing. It was a really good atmosphere. Even though it thined down after the start of the race, it was still fun. Everyone was disgusted with the way things had turned out but were still trying to enjoy in all that had been offered.
Other than this another highlight was me getting to drive a total of 370+ miles in about 7 hrs from Chicago to Indianapolis and back…. averaging at 50 miles/hr. Though it made me tired, I loved every bit of it.
